Quick note to let you know that some Fox UHD Blu-rays are now in the hands of consumers thanks to Fox Connect and none of them (Martian included) contains a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
This is really bad news coming from Fox and a really disservice to the format launch sadly. I hope they will fix this on future releases.
the revenant, xmen and deadpool should be unique to hear in object based audio, if its dts:x or atmos shouldnt be a issue, they both should be equally good but again i prefer atmos because of the crystalclear sourcematerial they use very often.
with witchhunter, centre dialogue is especially silent and hard to follow. but action sequences are nicely done… let them come!
WHY!!!??? Do you or anyone have a contact at Fox we can email? I just installed in ceiling Atoms speakers and it’s MIND-BLOWING! I can’t wait to have more content in Atmos. Thanks for all your hard work!
Sadly not much to do, we need to have for their next releases and see what they will do.
