Mortal Engines confirmed with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision

A lot of new content was announced over the last week, featuring Dolby Atmos and some Dolby Vision.

Here’s a quick list:

  • Overlord (February 19), Robin Hood (February 19), Mary Queen of Scots (February 26), Mortal Engines (March 12) will all feature Atmos on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray and will have Dolby Vision on the 4K disc. Note that Robin Hood will also have HDR10+, becoming the first disc to have this and Dolby Vision.
  • Green Book (March 5) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (March 12) will both have Dolby Atmos on Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.
  • Lord of War will feature Atmos on its Ultra HD version.

Hunter Killer on Ultra HD Blu-ray With Dolby Vision and Atmos

Quick site update today with some interesting news:

  • Hunter Killer is coming on Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray on January 29. Both versions will have Atmos sound while the 4K release will also feature Dolby Vision.
  • The Little Mermaid is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray, no date yet.
  • The same goes for The Karate Kid, the original one.
  • Finally, the new version of Suspiria is coming on Blu-ray with Atmos on January 29.

New Halloween movie coming to Ultra HD with DTS:X

Quick update to the sites list today with the following more important items:

  • Halloween (2018) is coming on January 15 with a DTS:X soundtrack on both it’s Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.
  • Hell Fest coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray also with DTS:X on January 8.
  • First Man has been confirmed with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, no date yet.
  • Bad Times at the El Royale is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with Atmos on January 1.

How To Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 Coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray With DTS:X

I want to start by saying I’m sorry for the lack of updates over the last two weeks. I just updated the lists on the site with some new titles.

The biggest news is that the first two How To Train Your Dragon animated movies are coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray on January 22, both with a brand new DTS:X soundtrack.

I also added A Simple Favor to the list of movies confirmed with Dolby Vision on UHD Blu-ray and added a bunch of other new upcoming titles.

The Meg coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray in Dolby Vision and Atmos

A quick site update to the lists today with the most important updates being:

  • The Meg coming on UHD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision and Atmos.
  • Superman: The Movie coming to UHD Blu-ray on November 6 with Dolby Vision and Atmos.
  • And some new preorders for Ultra HD titles including The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Kin, Night School and A Simple Favor

The first three Rambo movies are coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray

Quick update in a quiet week to the site’s list today, including confirmation that First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo 3 are coming on Ultra HD Blu-ray. On a side note, how can film naming become so unclear! Am I the only OCD here who doesn’t like that the first movie is not alphabetically stored with the others ?

Schindler’s List Ultra HD Blu-ray also now has a confirmation that it will feature both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. It should be a real treat for the eyes and the ears.

America Psycho coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray and a ton of other updates

I’ve been busy over the last two weeks and it’s been at the same time a huge timing for Ultra HD announcements including Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and yes, even DTS:X!

I updated all of the site listings, but here are the most important news:

  • The three Avengers movies are coming on UHD with Dolby Atmos on August 14
  • America Psycho is coming to UHD Blu-ray on September 25
  • Jurassic World will feature a DTS:X soundtrack on its Ultra HD Blu-ray release (no date yet)
  • The Jack Ryan movie collection (five movies) is now confirmed for August 21
  • Robin Hood (the 2010 version) is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with DTS:X from Universal on September 11)
  • Sherlock: Season 1 also coming to UHD on November 6
  • The Punisher and Punisher: War Zone are coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos on September 25
